SOPHIE TUCKER


The last of the red hot mamas passed away on this day in 1966 at the age of 82. This is the "Soph" that Better Midler used to conjure up in her act for many years.

    She was the chubby comedy queen for many years. She was ribald, dynamic and sometimes plain Filthy! HOTCHA!
