Hilton hotel founder Conrad passed away on this day in 1979 at the age of 91. Shown here with one time wife Zsa Zsa Gabor, Hilton was born on Christmas Day 1887 in a primitive New Mexico adobe and rose to become the head of the world's first international hotel chain. His first hotel was in Cisco, Texas.
