Funeral Costs Can Be Lowered By Shopping
SAN ANTONIO -- Many people are finding out they can save money by shopping around for funerals.
While a casket can cost thousands, John Carlson, the owner of Caskets Plus, said his retail casket business is doing well during the weakened economy.
"I think the shock that people find out is the cost of dying," he said. "You can make your own casket in the garage and the funeral home will have to accept it."
