OUR KIND OF DIPLOMACY

In order to diffuse the controversy surrounding a Cambridge police officer, Sgt. James Crowley, arresting well known African American Cambridge professor, Henry Louis Gates, Jr., President Obama on Friday offered an invite for the two to share a beer with him at the White House.

Mess tries to stay away from politics but in our meaningless opinion this is probably the coolest gesture any president has made. Perhaps we could solve some of the troubles in the world the good old fashioned way - over a nice cold one. That's how it's been done out here in our world for decades.
