MONKEY ROBS DALLAS AREA STORE

RICHARDSON, Texas (AP) - Some real monkey business at a Dallas-area store led to the theft of several dozen plants, flowers and small statues. Surveillance video from Plants & Planters in Richardson shows a monkey appears to be picking up items and returning them to a human accomplice. Video aired Monday by WFAA-TV shows the small monkey appearing to scoop up plants, flowers and accessories. The animal then hands the items to someone on the other side of a fence. Owner Shelley Rosenfeld says it's "really hard to believe a monkey would come over here and do it," but the creature appears to be the culprit. Rosenfeld told WFAA says she doesn't plan to press charges at this time because she thinks the incident is humorous.
