Stone Oak Residents Worried About Partiers
SAN ANTONIO -- Business owners and residents in one of the city's fastest growing areas are beginning to complain about a thriving bar scene in the Stoned Oak area, believing the restaurants and clubs may be bringing too much crime into the area.
"This is not just our community going out for a glass of wine with dinner," said resident Sylvia Gaona. "The number of drinking establishments puts a lot of people behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol."

ReplyDeleteI live downtown and I say share the wealth! There are enough borrachos down here on any given night. As far as a gay bar in Stoned Oaks, just place a pitcher of beer between two men and they'll be lip-locking before you know it!

ReplyDeleteWhat any group does after no,1 or 2 pitchers of alcohol (or drugs, oft also in use)then does self-centeredly (with reasoning dulled etc.) may windup on their tab & thus only they should have to pay. However, no one would likely b'able to influence them to consider their actions harmful to even their ownselves, let alone with the strong likelihood they influence others to choose to do likewise with-out objection or rational boundaries. ReplyDeleteNOT BE DECEIVED, others have a legitimate responsibility to care enough to pursue all legal means of sustaining their own & anyone else's right to life, liberty, to act to prevent (rather than just react or fall victim) dangers/terrors caused by the vile biases of others. This lack of tolerance just may prevent those just-out-enjoying having fun hanging out, spending their own time thus who rail others as their 'haters'..well those thus labeled may care less about securing for them the opt to do, just because they can, from ending up deal or behind bars briefly or for life feeling emboldened by gang or worldly assumptions. We sh all ACT & speak out about those situations that threaten or terrorize or disturb the lives of all potentionally. All sh have the op to live peaceful, honest lives without being threatened, stalked, insulted, violated by any WhoopWhoop or hatchets held high to distort (at best) our thinking & cause more headaches internationally. Keep on keeping watching & speaking up against those who admit they don't give a d'm about what anyone thinks.....The power in that attitude, is unwise, masks their insecurity & hatred & thus "lacks a little bit of being a whole lot of nonsense/nothing". Those who reject their own, have been compromised more by those they claim as their 'real' family & are not as well, unlonely & backed as their credos claim. They cumble in their own dark, hiding behind labels, masks that claim others are not enlightened & for the most due to their own hatred. Those who see their "potential for goodness" tend to remember also that even Yoda said more is required with the utterance "Try not, do or do not."
