TONY AND EVA: KNOCKED OUT OF TOP TEN

It's a given that San Antonio's star couple, Tony and Eva, have celebrity clout — and cash, the latter placing them on last year's Hollywood's Top 10 list for their moneymaking skills. They still make the big bucks, but, according to Forbes.com, it wasn't enough to land them in the top tier of Tinseltown's deep-pocketed power roster. With a half-million dollars less than their previous $22.5 million ranking in the No. 9 spot, Eva Longoria Parker of “Desperate Housewives” and hubby Tony, the Spurs point guard, have been knocked down to No. 13 in the ranking of top-earning couples. -Thanks Express-News

CHARO

Actress, comic and flamenco guitarist María Rosario Pilar Martínez Molina Moquiere de les Esperades Santa Ana Romanguera y de la Najosa Rasten aka Charo was born today in 1951(or possibly 1941, as there's been an actual legal debate over her age) in Spain. This may be to "clear up" the possibility that she was underage when she married bandleader Xavier Cugat. Whatever her true age is, we say Cuchi Cuchi! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IarR8_ZOPFY
